BRICKLAYERS AND ALLIED CRAFTWORKERS LOCAL 9 PA JOINT APPRENTICE & TRAINING COMMITTEE accepts applications for the following trades: Bricklayer, Stone Mason, Pointer-Caulker-Cleaner, Tile Layer, Terrazzo Workers, Tile and Marble Finishers, Marble Masons, and Cement Masons.Applications are available at a Career Link (www.cwdsstate.pa.us) in your area or at our office at 100 Kingston Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.(412)825-0923 or 1800 238-0999 The minimum requirements are as follows:

1. Applicant must be of good moral character and be able to perform the physical work of the trade.
2. Applicant must be 18 years of age
3. Applicant must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D Certificate.
4. Applicant mush have a valid PA drivers license and a vehicle.
5. Applicant must take a written exam set up by the J.A,T.C. and attend a J.A.T.C. oral interview.
6. Applicant must pay a non-refundable processing fee of $25.00 to be paid at the time of submitting the application .  Payments may be made by cash, check or money order payable to "BAC Local 9 PA JATF".
7. Applicants may be required to submit to a test for substance abuse.
8. Applicant must be willing to attend an out-of-state school for 12weeks.
9. Applicants must reside within the jurisdiction of B.A.C. Local 9 PA and the appropriate chapter for which they are applying
10. Applicants must be subject to a criminal background check.
11. Applications are accepted throughout the year, new apprentices are brought in as needed. Getting your application in is the first step for consideration in our program.Return Application to:
